Resolving Systemic Problems Tool

Description 

The Department of Secondary Education in Kfar- Saba Municipality, which is responsible for the city's junior high and high schools, assimilated a management tool for solving systemic problems in schools. This tool was also used for analyzing the registration process for schools.

The Challenge 

  • Matching the content to the variety of schools and adapting them to the uniqueness of each of them.
  • Leading the discussion of the registration process for the city's educational institutions with a variety of stakeholders (parents, counselors, school principals, etc.).

My involvement 

  • Adjusting the management tool for solving problems that are unique to each school.
  • Formulating a municipal solution regarding registration that represents the interests of each of the partners.

The social impact 

  • Data use: solving systemic problems at the municipal and school levels.
  • Impact for the municipality: The Participation of educators and parents in dealing with systemic problems leads to mutual trust.
  • Social profit: Increase the residents' satisfaction due to improvement in services of the school and the municipal secondary education department.

The economic impact 

  • Improving and streamlining processes leads reduction in expenses of these schools and the municipality's education department.
